Yarlap

Yarlap® is an FDA-cleared home pelvic floor electrical stimulation device that uses gentle neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) delivered through a vaginal probe. It is designed to retrain the pelvic floor muscles and the nerves involved in bladder control. Current clinical guidelines consider intravaginal electrical stimulation a treatment option for women with overactive bladder (OAB)—particularly when bladder training and pelvic floor muscle training alone have not provided adequate symptom relief. It may help reduce urinary urgency, frequency, and urge urinary leakage by improving neuromuscular control of the bladder.

Important: Do not use if you have a pacemaker or other implanted electrical device, or if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Consult your healthcare provider before use if you have questions about whether this device is right for you.
